Predators at the Top of the Food Chain

topp.jpg

With satellite enabled devices, the Tagging of Pacific Predators project (TOPP) tracked tuna, seabirds, sharks, and other larger marine fauna, following them to nearly every corner of the Pacific. The sooty, a seabird, was tracked on the longest animal migration yet measured, over 64,000 kilometers (40,000 miles) in a year. More
